Fronted by Dondi Allen, Tesa Williams, Ronin Ali and Cheryl Hicks, driven by The Jellyroll Horns and the area's tightest rhythm section, Jellyroll has won over audiences from Madison Square Garden in New York City to the finest venues in Philadelphia, Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Jellyroll's style encompasses a mix of high energy and elegance with a repertoire including material from 1940's swing and classics to songs from the new millennium. Performing at over 110 exclusive, private events in 2006 alone, and having performed at thousands of events since its inception, Jellyroll's experience, professionalism, and talent have become major reasons for its ongoing success.
In addition to the "Best Of Philly," "Best Of Delaware," and "Best Of The Main Line" awards, Jellyroll has been selected as one of America's best dance bands in Modern Bride Magazine's "150 Hottest Bands and DJs" in the 2006 and 2007 national issues. The Philadelphia Inquirer has also recognized Jellyroll as one of the best Philadelphia party bands.
Jellyroll has recently been honored to have performed at the White House for the 2007 Congressional Ball in front of our nation's most influential and distinguished dignitaries, Our nation's First Lady, Laura Bush, then invited Jellyroll to perform at her 44th high school reunion where Jellyroll again kept the White House East Room full of satisfied dancers.
